But first turn mains off and on again to check if anything happens ( a reset of some sorts).

I have a repair manual for this but not immediately accessible. Will be about 7 hours that I can get back on this.

Hello, Christi,What i would try first is see if perhaps the ribbon cable has come loose from the control panel the touch pad is separate from the control board and its entirely possible that its bad and not the control panel.Also i would surly want to check to door switch as well since they are more common problem than either the touch pad or control board ..to me its sounds like possibly the door switch is the problem since it thinks the door is open and wont allow it to start since the door switch thinks its open .Please respond if you should need further assistance.GENE
