The Fill valve may need replacement.
Look in the tank as it fills, does the stream come out as a stream or more of a spray, there is a chance that a residue build up is restricting and a soak in something like CLR might fix things.
If you decide to go with a replacement fill valve it may be a good time to replace the flushvalve and flapper as well.
Fluidmaster makes a nice kit that is relatively inexpensive and is good quality parts at almost any hardware store.

After the toilet is flushed,
Most likely the toilet flush valve is plugged with sediment &/or needs to be replaced. Try turning off shutoff valve on bottom of toilet. Then turn valve back on. It may flush out the sediment. If not you will need to change the valve.

Hi, I have a new
this has been seen on other brands as well. due to the lower consumption the manufacturers have had to create a stronger and quicker flow of water to flush the toilet. this has created a splashing effect when the first lot of water is delivered to the bowl. i have not heard of a solution to this problem other than closing the lid before flushing. i shall bring it to the manufacturers attention.

Water flow does not stop
you probably have a bad flapper valve. The flapper valve sits in the bottom of the tank and allows the water to flow into the bowl when you flush. Turn off water supply to the commode and remove the tank lid. Feel the flapper valve, ensuring it is seated fully on the opening and is not damaged. If any rubber comes off on your hand or it feels slimy then you need to replace it. Remove flapper and take it to your local hardware store to match up with what they have on the shelf - you may need to cut some parts off of the replacement valve as they are designed to fit several different commodes. It is also possible that your float is stuck and you may need to replace the float and fill assembly - if this is so, the new assembly will come with detailed instructions to replace.
Hope this helps!!

The flapper assembly alone can be replaced. Turn off the water supply to the toilet and manually lift and remove the flapper from the fill tube - if you have to cut it, that's ok. Inspect the lip the flapper sits on, looking for chips or flaws that make that surface uneven.Go to your local hardware store - they have a large variety of replacement flappers from just a couple of dollars to pricier versions. Matching flapper color is not important - design and style is! Your fill tube probably has ears on the sides - you'll want to make sure you get an eared replacement. Usually the replacement flapper will have "extra " parts cast into the rubber for multiple applications, and these can be removed with scissors or a razor knife. Follow instructions provided with the flapper and know you just saved a healthy amount of cash over a service call!
