Rival 37601 6-Quart - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I got a large Rival Crock Pot thinking that it
Like ou, we got one as well and they are great.
If it's burning or overcooking on Low, it may be the heat control is malfunctioning. My wife made several suggestions...
1. Take it back to where you bought it and exchange it for another.
2. Call Rival Customer Service and ask them about it 1-800-557-4825
3. Put a layer of vegetables (carrots, celery, potatoes, etc) on the bottom and meat on top of it, with fluid to keep it moist. Cook on low for shorter periods of time.

Handle on glass lid is broken on rival crockpot model 37601
I went to Home Depot and picked out a nice little round cabinet handle. Took a small wood screw and plastic washer (milk jug plastic) and installed it. Plastic washer goes between screw and glass lid from inside. Years later still works, but untreated wood handle is cracked. But still works!

Broken lid handle for rival crockpot
Contact the manufacturer and see if they sell replacement parts.
Alternative:
Depending on how bad the lid handle was broken.
You may be able to use something like Gorilla glue to piece it back together. Good stuff!
Good luck!

Without thinking I put frozen
I would suggest that by adding frozen goods to an ambient pot and the heater has kicked in causing a crack in the ceramic pot - this is unrepairable as the damage done is deep into the pot.
A similar problem is putting hot water onto a frozen windscreen - it will crack.
The damage is caused by applying alternate extremes of tempatrature to a solid.
You could glue it, but it may well leak later in use, or may not be entirely stable in the wash. You might find it could separate when you are cleaning it.
Sorry, but I hope this helps.

Inside Dish has a crack
If the inside stoneware has cracked, you can NOT use it. Liquid will leak out and potentially cause a shock hazard.
