acampbel I went to pride website and could only find the manual for the Jet 3 ultra. I don't know if that manual can help you but goto pridemobility.com and select Jazzy chairs, scroll down until you see the picture for the Jet 3 Ultra click on the picture and you can download the manual from that page. Hope this helps you
The Battery does not seem
Remove the batteries .. Every Chair is different .. but if the batteries aren't charging it's probably that they were left uncharged for a time and they dropped down enough that the charger dosn't recognize them .. If they drop down below around 6 volts the charger won't charge them ... I have taken batteries out and charged them individualy with a car charger .. but they never come back .. at best half life.
I have a model 2904JT-24
Get yourself a voltmeter like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Volt-Meter-Voltmeter-Multimeter/dp/B001RSREKI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1314727563&sr=8-2
Place the red (positive) lead from the voltmeter to the positive clamp of the battery charger and the black (negative) lead from the voltmeter to the negative clamp of the battery charger. Set the voltage range on the voltmeter to the correct range ( turn the dial to "20" in most cases) it will tell you how to do this in the instructions.
Read the voltmeter. If you are getting a 24 volt readout on your voltmeter, your charger is fine.
I hope this helps. If this did help you please give a thumbs up!
Thanks for choosing FixYa!
After charging the jet 3 plus there is only on red
Hello
Have the scooters batteries been tested and they show good, this is a load test done with a special tool, most auto parts stores will run the battery load test for free. Next you need to check on board battery charger for proper operation,
When I turn on controller
Do all of the speed lights flash at the same time or do they ripple from left to right? If they ripple from left to right the chair is in lock mode and you can use the unlock procedures from my tips to unlock. If they are all flashing at the same time you have an internal joystick problem and the joystick needs to be replaced Hope this helps
We have the flashing lights/chair

ps. The port under the joystick controller is for a technition to plug in a programmer. The programer can tell a tech what is wrong with your chair or he/she can program the chair for different chair atributes. It can also be use for an off board charger.
Good Luck

I have a Jazzy 1113
huntin you might not get a reading at the plug to the batteries because if its not connected to a load the charger might operate until it senses a load. a better way to check would be to plug the charger into the outlet and take your meter set it to 200 volts dc and plug it into the two outter holes of the chager port located under the front of the joystick. you should get 27-30 volts dc with the charger plugged in. when you unplug the charger you will be reading the battery voltage. After charging overnite you should be reading 26-30 volts dc if you aren't getting that voltage replace the batteries Hope this helps
Hi, I have a jet 3 ultra chair . I have just put
Rolfe could be a couple of things check the brushes in each motor for excess wear and check to see if the motors are getting overly warm after driving for awhile if they are then you could have a brake problem on one or both of the motors. If your brushes are less than 1/8" long then they need replacing and you can have a provider order some from Pride for you or have them service the motors for you. If it is the brake then it will have to be replaced by a tech who knows what to do if you can get the brake from Pride. Now I'm not suggesting this or recommending this because of safety and liability issues but you could remove the brake from the rear of the motor that is getting hot (if it is) leaving the wiring connected and hang the brake in the rear of the chair so it won't break the wiring and drive the chair to see if that makes a difference. If you remove the brake and wiring then the chair won't move at all because the controller is looking for the brake when you turn on your chair if the wiring is disconnected you will get a fault error and the chair won't move. Also have someone load test your new batteries just because"new" doesn't mean good and a weak battery will reduce distance driven. Hope this helps
Controller has 8 flashing lights
After researching this question for you I came up with a charging issue when the lights keep flashing. This means that battery is either bad or came loose or the charger on board went bad and will not complete the charge my best advice to you is to take it in to a local shop to have it serviced. Thanks for using FixYa! John
