I HAVE A ROWENTA 1550W AND THE WIRE IS SHORTED, I WAS WONDERING WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FIX THIS, AS IT IS EXACTLY WHERE THE WIRING COMES OUT OF THE STEAMER... PLEASE HELP.

there is a reason for the wire shorting at that point could be a dead short that caused the wire to burn or other serious problem best advice is to take it to an appliance repair shop for a diagnosis and quote or to be safe simply junk it and get a new one

I just plugged in my new Rowenta iron for the first time and the red and yellow lights re blinking and it won't heat up.

It is evidently defective. If this was the first use, box it up and send it back for a refund or replacement. Most companies require to issue a return authorization form before shipping it back.

How to repairleak on rowenta superpress 050 I use spring water

probably can't fix if you take it to an appliance repair ship for a quote , it will probably cost more than a new one Spring water is very high in mineral content and that would cause the leak best use DE-mineralized water as that is just pure water and is what is recommended for irons

My Rowenta steamer turns on and the water gets hot but no steam comes out. Can you help?

Have you made sure the steam setting is "on" ? Are the jets clogged? (white dry material in holes of hot side of iron).

My rowenta iron keeps sticking

Hello, Ellen - You may find this YouTube video instructive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hgkWmMZeeU Skip the initial advertisement. You will find other methods for cleaning a sticky iron here: https://www.wikihow.com/Clean-a-Sticky-Iron Since the iron sole plate stickiness problem is not limited to Rowenta brand irons, it is easy to find solutions. How did I find the information? I just used my favorite search engine (Google) and used this search phrase: iron sticking How difficult is that? Best wishes.

My Rowenta dg5030 is not producing steam. The iron plate gets hot and the boiler is hot. Just when you depress the steam button, nothing comes out. There is steam in the boiler. Thank you

The small transfer water-line to the steamer section has closed up. This is due to contamination of salts, accumulated calcium or other debris. Its baked on and not easy to remove. All I can tell you is: always use filtered water or distilled water in the NEW IRON that will replace this one.

First time I plugged in the Rowenta Steam Iron, all of my hard-wired electrical smoke alarms went off. Does it require an adapter in the USA?

check the iron's label and see what voltage its rated for. If its from over seas and you are in the states with it, you will be wise to buy another iron. The adapter you would need is called a step up transformer and it would need to be large. 2000w or so. An iron would be much cheaper. The label will say 240z 50hz or 110 60hz. if it says 110 60hz then you have another problem.
