I replace my keyboard and my key are repeating typing
More than likely your dust guard or the board is not installed correctly re-align them and double check your connection it should be fine and the beeping will stop. Make sure all your springs are free and clear and nothing is forcing pressure on them from the underside.
When I turn on computer the gateway logo pops up then goes off and then it just keeps doing it over and over. what do I do?
I would need more information to give you a better idea of what may be going on. But from the limited information given, i would say it is probably a driver issue. What more than likely happened was, your computer automatically installed a updated driver for a hardware device on your laptop. This happens often is usually a headache for most users but a fairly easy fix.
1. Turn off your laptop where it is not restarting anymore and is completely off.
2. Turn on your laptop, then immediately press the F8 key repeatedly several times a second. You will be prompted by a new black screen with several options.
3. Choose the option that says : repair your computer
4. The computer will start a diagnosis of why your computer will not POST. Which means why it will not make it to the operating system.
5. If you still have the same issue, Do steps 1 & 2 again, then instead of choosing the option: Repair your computer, Choose the option: Last known good configuration.
6. If you still have the same issue, Do steps 1 & 2 again, then Choose the option: Repair your computer, then choose the option restore or recovery/ image recovery.
WARNING! IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO A RECOVERY/ IMAGE RECOVERY, YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING ON THE LAPTOP!
INCLUDING PROGRAMS, PICTURES, VIDEOS, MUSIC, DOCUMENTS ETC.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU HAVE A PROFESSIONAL GET BACK-UP OF YOUR FILES AND THEY WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO RECOVER YOUR COMPUTER TO FACTORY CONDITION.

How old is the laptop? My previous issues with laptop screens is usually due to a pinched ribbon cable or lose ribbon cable or even the digitizer going bad. You may need to replace the screen. This is usually more cost effective than buying another laptop.
Keyboard doesn't work
To determine if the motherboard is faulty, connect an USB keyboard to your laptop an see if the keyboard works properly. If so then the laptop keyboard may only need the keyboard connector unplugged and then plugged back onto the motherboard.

Is this your laptop model? It doesn't seem right to me, usually Gateways have a model such as M200 etc... have you tried here?

Fix scrolling touch pad
Do you use Synaptics or a similar add-on for Windows? Then go to Start>Control Panel[Large/Small Icons]>Mouse>Last tab to right and double-click your touch pad in the upper list, and you will be presented with a plethora of settings for your touch pad. Scrolling should be one of them. Mack sure your desired options are checked, and click Apply or OK on that window to save those settings. Then click OK on the Mouse properties to exit.
