Frequent error 80 occursdespite using different
That error is really only a very generic error "Err 80 Malfunctions related to the electric control or images have been detected."
-Turn the power switch to OFf then to ON; to turn on the power again.
-Remove and re-install the battery.
Clean the area where the lens meets the body with a pencil eraser. Hope this helps, good luck.
Hi, i have a canon
Most definitely battery grip. Prone to a phenomenon know as 'flexing'. The contacts on the grip fail to connect to camera's contacts. Can cause other problems such as switching on and off when you least expect it. I got sick of going thru about two grips for every camera so went with 1D/1Ds series. You'll hear people say 'stick with Canon grips' blahhh(!) too ****** expensive and are prone to the same problem. Can't be helped when you hand hold a camera+grip for long periods - the warmth of your hands can heat up (warp) the plastics and it's all held 'together' by one little screw in a tripod mount (!)
You could 'try' removing the grip, leave it off for say a week. I don't know why it's how, but if always works like new when you put it on again. Until....it starts playing up again. :)
OEM, 3RD party... OTY. For the price of one Canon I could get two cheapies. Always had the 1D (classic) and ahem...still have it! So I stuck with the series (1D IV, 1Ds2) Still holding onto my 7D w/grip (3rd party) though.
Canon 5D Mark II error 80

My MK2 will not change the iso when in video mode
Have you tried to put the exposure mode to "manual"? If you leave it in automatic exposure mode, the iso, speed and aperture will always combine themselves to give the correct exposure and therefore will not let you overexpose your video. Hope this will help.
Can't set self timer on 5d
Your mode dial may be set on a function that does not support self timer. Turn you mode dial to P and see if it operates then
Error code 80 + lock up functions
Still, when this error comes back, you should contact Canon.
On of the options hinting, you should use Canon lenses. So perhaps one of the contacts is a bit dirty?
Try cleaning all contacts in your camera, involved with lens and battery connection. Sometimes changing a lens can have a cleaning effect to. Most of the time not forever.

5d mark II working without memory card ,but with
I have seen this problem some times. Usually it comes from a fail at the CF PCB (compact flash printed circuit bard) and it is necessary to change the board. Sometimes the problem is the "bent pin syndrome" that frecuently occurs by using cheap Flash Cards.
Memory card release button broken
The card release assembly is located on the back of the rear main circuit board. This is not a repair I would recommend to someone who is not used to dealing with static sensitive circuits and does not have an anti-static setup for repair
Memory card folder changed from EOS to EKS
Have you tried formatting the card in camera? Always format cards in camera, don't just delete all photos. If that doesn't work, format the card on the computer in FAT32 and then format in the camera.
