Are you looking to switch out the motherboard or just the processor? If you find a compatible processor you could switch them out, finding a new motherboard would be much harder though.

• first a fall u check a small button in mouse pad bottom right hand side .
• whether it will lock or unlock.
• it indicates above whether the button is lock or not
• if it is locked then press it again,it will release
• then u have to work without scroll the side bar....

Hi! try to check if there is on/off button for touchpad, normally there is a touchpad indicator light that you can check if it is on or not. If this doesnt work, use an external mouse and then try to uninstall and reinstall the driver of your touchpad in device manager:for xp:start->right click on my computer->properties->hardware->device manager->mice and other pointing devices. Uninstall it and then reinstall the driver. you can download the touchpad driver from the hp support website(support.hp.com) if its missing. Hope this will help...Cheers!!!

NO , never, if the big laptop , is old NONE TOLD, and that huge battery is bad as most are old, I'd remove it and run on only the AC/DC power pack alone. laptops PCs have to have bad huge batteries even 1 year old abused. charger = AC/DC POWER PACK. go into your control panel and find the icon,,region and language.try if you can do it from there.

Hello, the best you can do is to have the fan cleaned. Sometimes dust around the fan, doesnt make it blow effectively. But if this doesnt help, then you must have the fan replaced. The fan may be blowing, but not blow effectively because the fan propeller maybe weak. To cut the long story short, have it replaced and that should solve the problem. Good luck.
