2003 Mitsubishi Diamante "gas guage stuck 1" Questions

i put a brand new sending unit in the tank gas guage still read full 1) It could be stuck, OR 2) Gas tank is full

i installed a new fuel pump n gas guage got stuck on 1/4 of tank n already drop the gas tank 2 times n check all the wires n even the float n still cant find the problem ... what do i need to do now .
