check to see if setiment has settled on the pilot....blow it out with air if it has. This issue comes up often with water heaters and rv refers. If that is not the problem and the pilot remains lit, but never increases when the thermostat is turned up, you probably need a new gas valve/thermostat.

This might not be much help, without more details, but there should be a valve inside the water heater panel (outside) you can open. Open the valve at the main propane tank also.

Make sure the water tank is FULL before you fire it up. There should be a switch inside the coach somewhere to turn it on.

If it doesn't ignite immediately, you probably have air in the lines. Light the stove and let it burn for a minute, then try the hot water tank again. Might take a few tries to get it fired up.

Hello, Tom -

Apparently Coachman purchased Georgie Boy Manufacturing in 1995.

I checked the Coachman website
(home page: http://www.coachmenrv.com/ )
and found no mention of Georgie Boy motorhomes.)

You should still contact Coachman directly and ask about the Georgie Boy 1998 Pursuit, in hopes the company has information in its archives. This is the link to the Contact Us page for Coachman:
There is a form on that page which you can fill out to send an email.

Another option would be to join an RV discussion forum where others who may be knowledgeable may be able to provide the information you seek. I found The RV Forum:

You will need to register (free) before posting any question in the Motorhomes category.

Best wishes.

check for a problem climatic control unit
if the ac gave out cold air when the thermostat was adjusted , it indicates a control problem rather than an ac problem
take it to an accredited ac specialist shop for a proper diagnosis and quote

It could actually be the thermostat, the circuit board, the sail switch, but no way of knowing without actually seeing and diagnosing it.

1st Question - Can you verify that you actually have a Gas/Electic Waterheater? Most units are gas only. You may have to look at the unit and look for power cables.

2nd. Is power connected prior to turning on the water heater?

Forest River... | Answered on Jul 13, 2019

is the water supply connected to a pressure feed water source.
if so remove water into unit.

You have a blockage somewhere.
First place I'd try is the tip of the faucet.
They screw on, and can get clogged with sediment.
God bless your efforts.

I have had two different travel trailers and both of the water shut offs were behind wood panels between the kitchen and the back bedroom

First find water leak that’s making it rot! Next, fold out and drill rivets or remove screws and hardware then remove plywood or particle board and replace with fresh plywood from Lowe’s that’s same thickness so bed will close and stow properly

Not sure what you mean by "middle arm" and are you referring to the patio awning? What is your RV?

nothing to do with FIXYA dot com!!!

When you buy it and find something that is broken, we can help.

Request the wiring diagram (not a schematic) directly from Keystone.

Try this to determine it.

If you have leveling jacks, the interlock might be the issue. Of course, the transmission has to be in Park. Use a multimeter to check for power from chassis battery to the fuse panel and ECU.
