I have seen disconnected wires in pictures of used units. It may be for uninstalled options. Unfortunately, it seems like mfg don't want you to DIY repairs so the best you can do is make your own diagram.

I will assume you have a dometic Refrigerator. Go to the Dometic site online with your Model number. That will lead you to a complete PDF FILE of your manual. Good Luck. Also...if the trailer is not level, the unit will not cool correctly and always plug your Refrigerator in a couple of days before you go on a trip to cool it down. Good Luck

don't know the system, but it should be easy enough to trace it with a simple voltmeter. I would suspect the battery connections first. A bad connection could allow the battery to charge and the converter could provide enough power, but when off, the voltage drop across the battery terminal could be too much.
Without shore power, turn something on that will draw a few amps and measure the 12V starting on the battery connection, not the battery terminals. Then compare it to a measurement on the terminals. If there is any diff, remove the connectors, clean and lub and replace. From there, just follow the wiring.

That should be easy to locate. Outside, down low. Usually black, 3" diameter. Has a cap over it (or should). The unit will have 2 pipes running into it. One usually 1 1/2" or 2" for the grey water and a bigger 3" for black water. Made out of PVC plumbing pipe, just like in a house.
