Is it a P30 chassis with the auto park brake? If so, there would be what looks like a brake drum where the driveshaft goes into the transmission. That brake is always applied until the motor is running and then is hydraulically held in the release position. The mechanism is integral with the foot brake but even with the foot brake off it will stay engaged. Under the driver seat area underneath the coach is the mechanism. If this is the problem you need to figure out how to release that brake. If you can find a way to pull the cable against the spring tension and hold it there (clamp it somehow) it will free up the system. Of course if you already have the transmission disconnected from the motor then disregard all this and assume i misunderstood the problem.

replace the blower motor speed control module, it is shorted.
SOURCE: need an owners manual for 84 southwind motorhome
why can i find A PICTURE OF A 454 CHEVY MOTOR SO I CAN REPLACE BROKEN BELTS
SOURCE: need a picture or schematic
I can't give you a schematic but i can tell you where the wires should go;Battery post of the alternator should go to the center post of the battery splitter box that splits between the engine and the house. In the alternator plug the wire closest to the battery post of the alternator needs to go to the charge light or an ignition source. The other pin in the plug can just be looped the the battery post of the alternator. If you have no power to the alternator but do have power to the box that splits the power from vehicle to house the you need to put all the wires on the post marked batt until you can get a new one, this should get you up and running. If you are planing to remain camping with the temporary repairs made then separate the wires until you are ready to start the camper to prevent a dead battery condition if the house battery gets run down.Hope this helps.

Hi, the battery goes dead because there is a drain on it. Either a short or something is on somewhere in the motorhome. This is hard to locate because there are so many things that can be on in a motorhome.
Based on previous experience i have had with the motor home, it seems the problem is with the master switch at the entrance of the van which only cuts off the actual items being used i.e lights, toilet etc but does not disconnect the actual battery. If you leave the main control panel on "leisure" or "vehicle" there is a constant 70 mA drain (coil on a relay) even if the master switch at the entrance is switched off. Now 70 mA is not a lot of power but it equates to about 40% of the battery capacity which can run it down gradually.
Make sure that the main panel is switched to the central (off) position and there will be no more flat batteries.
