Electric heater problems.

Plug in a ceramic 120 volt or oil type space heater to keep trailer warm. Most travel trailers are propane only, they do not have electric heat strips. I would bet that is why it only blows cold air.

Diagram for using tank water

No diagrams available. There should be a tank located under the trailer with a water fill point on the outside of the trailer. Inside under a cabinet there should be a demand pump with an on/off switch located on the monitor panel. There may be a winterizing three way valve between the tank and the pump with a third open ended line used to draw antifreeze into the system. If the valve is in the wrong position the pump will not prime and distribute the water as designed. From there the pump is plumbed into the rest of the plumbing system.

How to empty you fresh water tank

There should be three low point drains located under the trailer. Two will be close, side by side, to one another. This is the low point for the entire plumbing system, both cold and hot. There will be another single low point drain which will be for the fresh water tank. The low point drains may only have a cap on them or may have a valve installed.

Microwave blown fuse

You will need a set of safety torx screw drivers to remove the cover of the microwave. On the circuit board you should see the fuse. In some cases the fuse is soldered in and cannot be changed with out the use of a solder extractor and solder iron to reinstall.

No hot water flow through faucets

At the back of the water heater there will be a series of valves. One on the bottom, sometimes one on the top and then one in a line that connects the top to the bottom lines. Make sure the middle valve is closed and the top and bottom valves are open. If there is not a valve on the top that can be manually opened and closed then there is a check valve installed. This check valve will allow the hot water out of the tank but will prevent the back flow of cold water during the winterization bypass. If the valve on top is closed it will not allow hot water out. If the middle valve is opened it will allow the cold water to mix with hot water and defeat the purpose having a water heater. Close the middle open the top and bottom. If there is not one on top then the check valve is probably clogged or has failed and need to be cleaned or replaced.

Have a Norcold model 482 RV fridge for my Georgie boy impulse and has stopped working on electric and propane. metal sleeve above pilot light from outside access panel gets to hot to touch.

I'd check the control board. You MUST have good 12v going to the board in order for it to function correctly. Sounds like you have decent propane if the burner assembly gets hot. The key to the whole thing for either propane or 120v usage is good 12v.

Locating the water heater bypass on forest river 398

Locating the water heater bypass on a Forest River RV, specifically the Forest River Georgetown 398 model, can vary based on the specific layout and design of the RV. However, in most RVs, including Forest River models, the water heater bypass valves are typically located near the water heater unit itself. Here are some general steps to help you locate the water heater bypass on your Forest River Georgetown 398: 1. **Identify the Water Heater Unit:** - The water heater in your RV is usually located inside a cabinet or compartment, either inside the RV or accessible from the exterior. - It is commonly found in the kitchen area, bathroom, or an exterior compartment. 2. **Access the Water Heater Compartment:** - Locate the compartment where the water heater is installed. This could be inside the RV or in an exterior storage compartment. - Open the compartment door to access the water heater. 3. **Look for the Bypass Valves:** - Once you have located the water heater, look for the bypass valves near the water heater unit. - The bypass valves are used to redirect water flow during winterization or maintenance to bypass the water heater. 4. **Check Behind the Water Heater:** - In some cases, the bypass valves may be located behind or on the backside of the water heater unit. - You may need to remove a panel or access door to reach the bypass valves. 5. **Identify the Bypass Valve Configuration:** - The water heater bypass system typically consists of three valves: a cold water valve, a hot water valve, and a bypass valve. - The bypass valve should be set to bypass the water heater when winterizing the RV or performing maintenance. 6. **Consult the RV Manual:** - if you have one, refer to the owner's manual or documentation provided with your Forest River Georgetown 398 for specific information on the location and operation of the water heater bypass system. If you are unable to locate the water heater bypass valves or have difficulty accessing them, it may be helpful to consult with a Forest River dealer or RV service center for assistance.

I have a 2013 coachman my truma cp25 is saying operation fault connection error can u help please

The Truma CP25 is a digital control panel used for operating the Truma Combi heating and hot water system in RVs, including Coachmen RVs. If you are encountering an "Operation Fault - Connection Error" message on the Truma CP25 panel, it indicates that there is an issue with the connection between the control panel and the Truma Combi unit. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this error: 1. Check Power Supply: - Ensure that the RV is receiving power and that there are no electrical issues affecting the Truma Combi unit. - Verify that all power connections to the Truma Combi unit and control panel are secure and not loose. 2. Reset the System: - Try resetting the Truma Combi system by turning off the power to the unit for a few minutes and then turning it back on. This may help reset the connection error. 3. Inspect Connections: - Check the wiring connections between the Truma Combi unit and the control panel. Make sure the connections are secure and there are no loose or damaged wires. - Clean the connection points to ensure there is no corrosion or debris affecting the connection. 4. Update Software: - If possible, check if there are any software updates available for the Truma CP25 control panel. Updating the software may resolve any compatibility issues causing the connection error. 5. Contact Truma Support: Good luck

Check the grounds on the lights and there is somewhere on the trailer where they are all grounded to the chassis. This is often corroded. https://www.google.com/search?q=1997+jayco+36ft+eagle+designer+no+exterior+lights ..

Manual for 2000 forest river cardinal 32lx

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, specific documents, such as owner's manuals for RVs, may not be readily available online for older models. However, you can try the following options to obtain a manual for your 2000 Forest River Cardinal 32LX: 1. **Manufacturer's Website:** Visit the Forest River official website and check their support or customer service section. Some manufacturers provide online access to owner's manuals or offer support services to help you obtain one. 2. **Forest River Customer Support:** Contact Forest River directly through their customer support or service department. They may be able to provide you with information on how to obtain a manual for your specific RV model. 3. **RV Owner's Forums:** Join online RV owner's forums or communities where fellow RV owners discuss their experiences. Members often share resources and may have digital copies of manuals for older RV models. 4. **Used RV Dealerships:** Reach out to used RV dealerships, especially those that specialize in older models. They may have access to or be able to point you in the right direction for obtaining manuals. 5. **RV Owner's Clubs:** Check if there are RV owner's clubs or associations dedicated to Forest River owners. Members of these clubs might have valuable resources or copies of manuals for your specific model. 6. **Online Marketplaces:** Explore online marketplaces, auction websites, or forums where RV-related documents are sometimes sold or shared. 7. **Libraries and RV Shows:** Local libraries may have RV-related resources, and attending RV shows or events might connect you with knowledgeable individuals who can assist. Remember that the availability of manuals for older RV models can vary, and it may take some effort to locate one. If you're unable to find a physical manual, consider reaching out to Forest River directly for guidance or assistance. Additionally, some RV owners may have scanned or digitized versions of manuals, so online communities and forums can be valuable resources in your search.
