okay i have a 1998 Honda 450 foreman 4x4 foot shift that will shift up out of what i believe to be first gear but it wont shift down to neutral please help
Well, I have had this problem before. What kind of four wheeler do you have? With my honda recon it wasn't getting enough fuel. Let me know what kind of four wheeler it is then I can help you.
Try cleaning the spark plug with fine grit sandpaper,make sure air filters is cleaned,then make sure carb is cleaned pilot or idle jet might be clogged. good luck
For many, many years now, motor cycle ignition has been non adjustable. If a person wanted to change the timing they would have to install some kind of ignition box or ignition advancer.
If someone owned the four wheeler bofore you thn it is possible this was done.
Use an air rattle gun to tighten the bolt but set the torque first.
some soft metal between the two gears can stop them turning, i have used a copper coin before.
will the bike start while you have it in gear and hold in the clutch and "kickstand switch" up position.? can i get a four thumbs up if this gets you in the ball park. thanks.
