Question about 2006 Honda VTX 1800
Had to replace battery with new one. All works lights horn but will not crank to start. All ruses are good. Please help
My 2004 VTX 1800C will not crank. It was cranking but slowly due to battery. I put the charger on it and all works except will not crank. I can jump out the solenoid and it will crank so starter and battery seem ok.

Try this. Turn on headlite then try to start.Watch lite,if it goes real dim to off trouble is battery. If lite does not change, still bright, trouble is bad starter,or bendix or solonoid.Starter is not requesting power so lite stays bright.Don,t forget to check ground wires at battery and frame. You changed battery check connections.
