I have a 1996 Yamaha 400 Kodiak.Will not start with electric start.Nutural light and reverse light will only light after pull start with lights on,have replaced battery.

you have a open wire or a bad connection the electrical current is grounding either your coil or your kill switch to the fram and not allowing it to start
hey Tammy... does the neutral light come on??? if not... find neutral..see what happens.. next.. have your batteries CCA checked.. (Cold Cranking Amps)...the amperage is what makes the starter work..NOT voltage...you can take it to Oreilly's, autozone, batteries and bulbs, or your local battery store...
