Both of these lights were coming on today on my ride home. When I left the gas station eveything was fine. Then i noticed both lights were on.
The Check Engine tells you that something is wrong about
your ride. Get your ride check for error code and take necessary steps to
resolve the issue. Also you can post the error codes so that we can help you to
solve the issue. Battery light lit means that your battery needs to be charged
or the electrolyte in the battery is low. Also it can be possible that the
battery needs replacement. Last the oil light alerts you to change the engine
oil. The engine oil prevents the engine components from wearing due to friction
and suppresses the heat generation keeping the metal parts in proper working
condition.
