Here are detailed instructions on the location, removal, and re-installation of your fuel filter. Hope it helps and have a great day!
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Carbureted Engines
These
vehicles use two replaceable fuel filters. A small one is in the fuel
line under the hood; a larger one is located at the rear, just inboard
of the left rear wheel.
Whenever the filter(s) are replaced, take
great care to avoid the entry of dirt into the lines. Also, pay
attention to the correct installation position. It is possible to
install the filter backwards.

Fuel Injected Engines
See Figures 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12
The
canister fuel filter is located in the engine compartment. When buying
the new filter, also buy new washers for the banjo bolts and the
service bolt. Failure to replace these washers invites high-pressure
fuel leaks. Replacing the washers is required, not recommended.
