My wr 250 is a 2001 model I recently had it serviced but there is oil coming out one of the pipes that seems to be a drainage pipe leading from the head

If you mean the pipe coming from the top , it is the crankcase breather.
run the bike for a few minutes then check the oil level, in case it is overfull.
If this only happened after the service its the most likely cause

My Yamaha wr 250 starts well but when hot just konks out, the carb has bee cleaned the head skimed, new head gasket ect, could it be the stater plate ? does any one think they might know the answer ? Tony.

my man, tony, dudeski, im a yamaha mechanic in idaho. your problem my friend is a valve adjustment. your valves are loose enough when cold to run with some compression but when warmed up they become to tight...therefore not enough compression to fire. easy fix too.

Cant find a repair manual for 2004 wr 250

Go to this site and you can download a free PDF service manual. The site may take up to 20 seconds to load the complete list of manuals. www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp Most all of the manuals are in English but some are not. There is no way to be sure without doing the download. You can always delete it if in a foreign language.

There is a 2002 WR / CR 250 and WR 360 manual in the listings. The service procedures are the same for your 2004 bike. Please take a moment and rate my answer. Thanks!

Whats the 09 007 42:4609 error code mean on my

The machine thinks the yellow ink chute isn't working. The inkloader may be jammed or defective.

If you can't un-jam it, you will need to replace the inkloader.
