When the lights dim is the bike idleing or is it above 2000 rpm if its ideling its not producing enough power back to battery so it will dim the lights. rev it up a little and see what happeneds

I rode a GL1200 interCRATE for about 4 years...this happened for it's whole time with me but never caused a problem. Try replacing/charging your battery if it's that much of a problem. The only time it was bad for me was when I hadn't ridden or charged it all winter, the bike hardly started and when the brake lights went on the bike cut out - solution, replace the battery :)

84 to 89 1200s goldwings have a pulse generator

1984 models have the PGs at the back of the engine. The engine has to come out to get at them, or I think you can pull the swingarm instead.
From 1985 the PGs are under the timing belt covers. Still not the easiest to get at.

WHERE DO I FIND WHER TO PUT IN FLUID FOR CLUTCH FOR MY 1985 HONDA GOLDWING GL 1200 INTERSTATE?

Dot 3/4 brake fluid is added to the clutch master cylinder on the left handle bar. The left (clutch) handle bar lever is attached to the clutch master cylinder. To add fluid you will have to remove the phillips screws (4 x 12 oval screws) holding the cover on. Be sure to lay plastic over the motorcycle (with a towel or rags over that) to protect the bikes plastic and paint from any DOT 3/4 fluid you may spill during the filling or bleeding process. Caution: brake fluid will brittle and crack expensive Honda plastic.

Check your trailer connector, you have a short circuit between the brake and tail /marker lamps. or water in your tail/brakelamp. Also check both brake switches, for water or corrosion.

If you have dual brakes on the front, one side may be applying more pressure to one or the other side. You may need the brake pads replaced. I also suggest having the brake fluid replaced and system checked.
