It also back fires when i shift up gears untill i give it a lot of throtl. i havent tried anything yet is it posible that that spark plug is bed so the cylinder is miss fireing?
This is possible, but if the bike isn't bucking then a misfire is unlikely and you just have a leaky carburetor issue.

Sounds to me like your running too rich, IE - theres too much fuel being burned as opposed to air. I'd check and make sure your airfilter isnt dirty, anything that restricts airflow can cause this. Dont leave the enricher on once the bikes started up...make sure you have the right plugs in there

hi, each lead has the specific number on it. if you do this correctly then they genrally give you an idea to where the sit in the coils( the way they bend :-) ) also i believe the coils are better off been attached to the frame once you are sure leads are in corect order and possitioned correctly in the coils.i just presumed the coils neaded earthing. make sure battery is pleny charged as a bad battery can just hinder. it is also very easy to flood the bike so just check the plugs again. if they are unusually wet then dry them off and try again . otherwise maybe try cleaning all electics.

The fuel filter is in the tank on the petcock and is self cleaning. I suspect you have bad spark plug caps on your bike the cap is part of the wire. If you remove the wire and take a reading with an ohm meter, the cap should read 5000 ohms . Anything above or below and you should replace the cap. This is probably causing the slight miss.

Replace the spark plug caps and try again. On Honda's the cap is often part of the wire (a dealer part) NGK makes some inexpensive plug caps about $5 each. They should OHM out to 5000 anything above or below and you need to replace them. This should fix the problem.
