Question about 1997 kawasaki ZZR 400
I have a Kawasaki ZZR400 1997 model. I have difficlty in starting the bike and when I do, it looses power in top gears. When I put Valve Ease in it moves like a Ninja, but thats only one tank. I have found myself having to tow my bike with another vechile to get it started and then the battery has been on charge. When the petrol pump is coneccted to the carborator it doesn't pump petrol, is that normal? The carborator sleeves (that thing that goes up and down in the carborator) dont move when you try to start it.The bike backfires sometimes when you try to start it. What the hecs wrong with the thing? Hope you had a good laught about my explanations, I did, I'm a Girl, LoL...... Your help will be appreciated.....

Hi there i had the same problem wit my ZZR400 a few months ago.Ill sugjest u take it to a shop to get looked at.The problem with mine was that the valves pulled into the head.Ull have to get it sjimmed or get new valves put in or a new head.I put a new one on mine but the ZZR600s and now its running fine with a lot more power.
