Do a valve adjustment on 88 600
You do not ask an answerable question so if you could post this again in an answerable format I am sure someone will be able to advise you. OR you could buy a service manual and probably find all information you need in it.
Hey fellas, have a 94
You have a wet clutch, and it has many disc's. 1/2 are metal (Aluminum or steel) and the other half are fiber. (Like a brake shoe material) The fiber ones wear out, and it will slip. Most kits have all of the disc's, and that is what you should replace, and then re-adjust your clutch lever.
Remember to soak the fiber disc's in oil before installing new.

Hi ,
Sorry to hear this about your bike but follow these instruction .
Firstly remove the spark plug .
put your bike with the back wheel off the grown and in any gear try to turn the back wheel .
due to no compression you should technically turn the rear wheel in gear .
If this does not work and it will not kick start without the spark plug out and still remain seized i am afraid that you will need to look at getting a new top end rebuilt .
Give it a try and let me know how you go .
My kicktarter is frozen, it will budge only an
Place your bike on a paddock stand, rear wheel in the air. Put it in top gear, (if it is difficult to change gear then it may be gearbox and not engine), remove the spark plugs (check for debris on the plugs) and turn the rear wheel slowly. The engine should move with ease, as there is no compression due to the plugs being out.
If it doesn't move, either the engines main bearings or piston/s have seized. It is time to strip the engine down and find out which one!
Check spares prices first as it may be cheaper to buy a recon engine from a warranted dealer, (not a rippoff merchant).
Hope that helped.
I need help with carb adjustments.because when im
Stalling, won't idle, and glowing header pipes are all symptoms of two possible problems: insufficient valve tappet clearance (adjust the valves), and/or plugged up carburetor from sitting (disassemble the carb and clean it).
Adjust the valves, first - and see if that doesn't solve the problem.
Bike won't start or wo't stay running
if air is entering the carb anywhere but the intake boot then you will have problems. if the crack is in the float bowl then you are llucky..if not..no big deal you can get a carb cheap from a slavage yard or buy it new ...if there is a crack in the air boot then it will need to be replaced...no mcguyver repairs on that
Push Pull throtal cables
you have to get the correct cable to replace the one broke,as the inner to outer cable lengths differ on the puul to return,as far as which way round to fit them,the smaller nipples go to the thottle twist grip.

The charging system is over charging or you are putting the wrong replacement bulb in. My first thought is that the rectifier has burned out or somehow other malfunction. You will also need to check the battery as a malfunction in the rectifier will over charge the battery and actually boil the liquid (acid) out of it.

Carburetor jet is not adjustable. It has a precise hole size. For richer mixture, replace jet with larger hole.

Hi,
Carburettors are notoriously difficult things to balance without the correct tools. I could not advise that you attempt to try this yourself as there are too many possible variations on the fuel mix and manifold vacuum pressure in the carbs.
The only way to balance carbs properly is to use a mercury manometer. The manometer measures intake manifold vacuume pressure and this tool is specifically designed to set the carbs properly. This will have a major effect on the overall performance of your bike.
Take your xr600 to a proper tuning shop and for a small fee they will set the carbs up properly for you. You will notice a major improvement in the bike and you will definitely not regret it!

Honda PC50 moped VIN decoder
To read the serial number on a Honda PC50 moped, follow these steps:
Locate the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number): The VIN is a unique code that provides information about your moped. On a Honda PC50, you can find the VIN in the following places:
Under the Air Filter Cover: Look on the left-hand side, just above the engine. The VIN should be stamped there. It typically looks like this: PC50 - 1234567.
Frame Number: The frame number is another term for the VIN. It's usually located near the air filter body.
Decode the VIN: The VIN contains important details about your moped, including the year of manufacture. Here's how to interpret it:
The 9th digit of the VIN is a check digit.
The 10th digit represents the year code. For example:
A = 1980
B = 1981
C = 1982
D = 1983
E = 1984
F = 1985
G = 1986
H = 1987
J = 1988
K = 1989
L = 1990
M = 1991
N = 1992
P = 1993
R = 1994
S = 1995
T = 1996
V = 1997
W = 1998
X = 1999
1 = 2000
2 = 2001
3 = 2002
Note that if your scooter was manufactured between February 1986 and February 1987, it's likely to be a '87 model;
Additional Resources:
If you have the full VIN, you can use the NHTSA VIN decoder to get detailed information about your moped.
Alternatively, you can call Honda with your VIN, and they will provide you with the necessary information.
