Fuel is getting into engine
Have you checked the carb for a stuck float? Sounds like the float is stuck allowing fuel to keep running into the carb and overflowing and washing down into the crank case.
Was rideing and just stalled like it had no fuel!!
clearly a valve issue. the valve that give gas and air to the chamber and closes in combustion may be damaged as it is letting the cumbustion out to the carb.
very dangerous i may say as the shraps from the carb will be a shotgun shots on your leg.
have this repaired as a new valve will be around 100-300$ depending on the brand and the condition. get an oem
Problems with 640 duke starting, not a battery fault any ideas?
remove the sparkplugs and ground them to the engine try to start check for spark at plug if sparking check for compression put your finger over plug hole try to start if it pops off check carb for gas (didnt say if it was running and then sat for a while) with spark and compression and good gas it should run if your finger dosent pop off then the problem is no valve movement to create compression(broken cam chain) that would allow the engine to roll over quickly or whirr as you said check these things and let us know
Chain
Put it up on your stand lossen the axel and remove the bolt on the bottom of the shock.
Then tighten your chain and lift your swingarm up until its horizontal with the ground, then the chain should have almost no play. Not completely tight, but almost no play.
Tighten the axel, and the bolt on the shock, and your set,,,

I HAVE A KTM 450 EXE 2004 MODEL AND I HAD TO REPLACE MY HEAD GASKET ANWATER PUMP SEALS AND NOW IVE GOT THE TINYEST DRIP OF COOLANT DRIPPING DOWN BEHIND THE FLY WHEEL WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS ?
It's a bad seal of the head gasket. You need a new head gasket and to scrape every particle of debris from the cylinder head and cylinder surfaces that mate with the head gasket. Use the factory specified gasket sealing compound and do a clean job - no blobs or pools of the stuff. The head gasket should lay flat on the surface of the top of the cylinder, and you have to make this surface free of grit, leftover sealant and any other foreign matter before you put the head in place and torque it down. Start with the head bolts just finger tight and then go by the manufacturer's specs for the pattern and amount of torque to be applied. Usually it is recommended that you get to the specified torque amount in stages, going around several times and repeating the torque pattern until you get that maximum rated amount. This will prevent the seal from shifting or warping and should make the gasket seal perfectly. This is the old school method of doing this job. and I have never seen this fail to produce good results. Take your time, be clean, and you will have the results you want.
