I have bajaj pulsar 150cc

I have bajaj pulsar 150cc 2005 make, when the vehicle is in cold or when we start the bike in the morning or start the bike after parking it for more than 2 hours. The vehicle idelling or RPM will go down and it off the vehicle if i dont raise the exsalator after running for more than 10 mins the vehicle RPM will be in 1500 RPM. Only when the vehicle is in cold condition the RPM goes to zero if i dont raise the exsalator. This problem might b due to some block in your bik's carburetor better suggest ur mechanic to clean it up thoroughly and this may fix ur prob. Even then if ur having the same problem then change to a new carburetor...try 2 fix this problem as soon as possible else you ll get very low milage......

It costs around 800.... but with fitting charges costs u around 900....

better go for a non branded which will be similar to the original costs around 400 or so... because u may not be knowing when it may gets scratches or breaks... Just think.....

start the engine and run for about 5 mins to heat the oil up, this helps the oil to come out of the engine.

turn engine off
undo oil drain bolt (remeber to have a basin underneath to catch old oil)
undo oil filler cap (more oil will come out)
pour some fresh oil in to clear out remaining old oil
clean and replace oil drain bolt and washer
top up with correct amount of 20W40 (recommended JASO-MA 20W40)

list of instructions can be found here http://bajajpulsar.org/?page_id=9

Bike wobbling problem

I have bajaj pulsar 150CC Dec 2008 Model. Since last few months (3-4) months I am facing problem with my bike. Whenever I speed up beyond 60-65, bike starts to wobble a littel. I feel like I might loose balance if I stretch beyond 70KMPH. I got my bike checked from the mechanic from whom I had got all the servicings done so far. He said there is no problem, but I could feel it. Can anyone tell what could be the problem and how to fix it.

Bajaj Pulsar 150cc DTSi Pickup problem

I have a Bajaj Pulsar 150cc DTSi (2005). It's giving a decent mileage of 55kmph. But, it has a couple of problems: 1. The pickup is terrible. The bike has very less pickup even in the lower gears. 2. It goes smooth until 50-55kmph. When I try to go over 55kmph speed, it makes lot of noise. and the RPM meter seems to stay at around 4000 mark. Can anyone suggest how to get the above problems fixed/

The new Pulsar 150 has RSA with Coil Springs and Suspension Fluid. If the Springs are fine, then get the shocks filled with equal amounts of Fluid at major Service Centers (Few workshops have it).
Else, if the Springs are weak, they can be adjusted by Local Shock Absorber Repairers (Dealers do not suggest it and do not have any mecanism to do it).
If neither of the above works, you have to finally change to a new Set of Rear Shock Absorbers...
