I need wiring schematics for a 2001 kawasaki
Have 2002 Vulcan 1600 Drifter. The tail and brake lights will not work. They were working rear turn signals do. It blew the fuse twice, now it is not blowing the fuse but still no lights. Got power to the fuse and leaving it not arriving at the rear light. The plug in,before it goes inside the rear fender, what color wires are what so I can check if things are arriving there O.K.?
Problem with second gear
i will tell u first the easy fix Before you do your next oil change, try adding some SeaFoam to the crankcase and ride for 50 to 100 miles. This should help remove any junk on the clutch plates. I'd also switch to another oil brand and see if it makes any difference.if it will still do the same:maybe the engagement dogs on the gears are damaged and probably the shift fork as well. The gears will stay engaged at lower torque but when the torque is great enough it causes them pull apart. And get the service manual it i help you a lot you can download it from the below link:

1999 Kawasaki VN 1500 Vulcan Classic compression very high
Take a look at the exhaust valves. If the exhaust valves are not opening, the pressure will build (sort of like an air compressor). There should be a cam for the intake and the exhaust, make sure the cam and the valves are operating correctly. Also, check your base gasket and head gaskets. If either gasket is too small, it'll boost your cylinder pressure. It is common to switch out the base gasket and/or head gaskets with thinner ones as an inexpensive mod to boost cylinder pressure. Lastly, too much carbon on the piston head or cylinder head can boost cylinder pressures (rare); the carbon can be a problem which can lead to detonation as well.
I ran low on oil and the valves became noisy, I
noisy cam followers or hydraulic lifters from lack of oil indicates that the bearings also were short of oil
yes the valve train is the last to get oil but if they had none then there would be little for the big ends and mains so if it appears to be short of oil up top , it may be because the bottom end has suffered damage
Where to find paint code on my motorcycle
It cant be found on the bike as they do not use a label system like cars do you will have to go to a motorcycle dealer and ask if they have the info or to a paint supply shop and get it colour matched . It really depends on how your bike was painted and what method as in finding a good match
Gas not flowing to carburator I took petcock cover
Try berrymans b12 and some fresh gas through the tank and into the carb. Let it sit for 24 hours and see if that clears up the problem if not you will need a rebuild of the petcock. K&L has rebuild kits. Refer to the manual for removing the tank and petcock. Its a pretty straight forward procedure.
