1999 jeep cherokkee , u have to slam the drivers passenger door for all the gages to go to where they need to be and for the electrical to be operated windows door locks and steering wheel controls. now the passenger windows don't go down or up and u can't use their buttons for windows or the drivers

May want to check the ground behind the left side kick panel. also check for broken wire to the window control switch in the door jamb.

Check Harness on drivers side door for broken wire. Resplice with wire of same gage and leave some room for movement. Usually thicker yellow wire

there is not enough freon in the system or doors problems,check heater funtion to see if it heat all windows,if it work it need to be check with AC gauges or machine for it.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Electrical issues.

the button that pushed in when you close the door could be bad its literally like a $10 part and plugs in and is only held in with one screw. My interior lights used to flash on and off and i replaced that and now good as new, but you would need to figure out which door is doing it by pushing the button in manually

Check the wiring between the drivers door and the A pillar(the body of the car). Sometimes the harness breaks from opening and closing the door.
