My daughter has a 97' Nissan sentra. The dashboard lights went out. Took car to dealer and after 2 days of checking car they said it was the fuse. Other mechanic checked fuses previuosly & said they were fine. Now dash lights went out again and this time so did tail lights. Bulbs were checked and are fine b/c break ligts still work.
I would check the connectors under the dash they have a tendancy to get loose are get hot and short a fuse this is most likely the problem...please rate this....
I had this problem in my '96 Sentra GXE and it was the master power window switch in the driver side door. You can check this by disconnecting the switch in the driver's door, replacing the fuse and turning on the lights.

1991 nissan pathfinder, the dash and tail lights are out, but my hazards and blinkers work, the fuses I have knowlege of under the dash are fine. So what I;m I missing. Help please.

I took my pathfinder to U-HAUL and asked them to check the towing lights. There was a pinched wire by my tail light and they cut it and changed it out for me, it was $5. I am so glad that I didnt take it to Nissan. My second step was going to be getting a new dimmer switch..but the guy who worked on my car said that wouldnt be the problem. He also told me that replacing a fuse that kept blowing out was dangerous and after the first time to get it checked out. Learn something new every day!!

i have a 97 sentra the dash lights are out and so are the tail lights i keep putting the fuse in it and thay just blow as soon as you turn the lights on
at first im dash would come on wen i stepped on the braks now it just wont come on at all but everything else is fine wut u think it could be
I am having this same issue, except for my brake lights go out once I turn my lights on. I can deal with no dash lights, but I really need brake lights. Did you find a solution? Thanks
