I have no other suggestions except what I already asked in previous calcification
SOURCE: I have a 1993 F-250 4x4 speedo stopped working and
1. Speedometer gets its reference form a VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) Check the plug to make sure there is no damage if no damage replace the sensor. The sensor sticks out of the side of the transmission or transfer case in your instance. About 1 in around.
2. As these trucks get older the power steering pumps tend to make lots of noise before they eventually fail. Usually the fluid in these cases is black as night from the pump burning the fluid. If the fluid is clean (bright red) and full the power steering pump is plain and simple dying. As they get further along they will growl at any position even if the wheel is not being turned.

Sounds like you need a new power steering hose. To verify this, I would dry up any wet areas on the hose and pump with a towel, get a flashlight and start the vehicle and try to determine the exact site of the leak which is usually at the ends of the hoses. Good luck!
