1998 jeep wrangler sahara brake, tail and turn signal wont work

no year, ? check the haz fuse. at left knee.? a wild guess. no year.
parking lights, the work on the front and rear. not just tail.
the parking lights and brake and turn all are controlled by the hazard module. and on jeeps , turns and brakes are a shared resource (blubs)
major warngler mile stones, all vastly different. are and i quote.

Check the brake control switch situated just above the break pedal arm under the dashboard. Could be a wire loose or unplugged or the switch itself could be faulty

you may have a bad ground. or the socket is bad.

If the bulbs and the fuses are good, check the brake light switch. You might of shorted out the switch when working on the pig tail. Always use a test light or volt meter when installing pig tails. This way you can check for power and ground before hooking a wire up to help prevent shorts. But by what you have said it does sound as if the brake light switch is now bad.

It sounds like the turn signal switch is bad.

Possibly the buss bar in the fuse box, but I'd bet on a fusible link or a master fuse.

I would check your headlight relay switch that is located in your steering colum

The tail lights on the 98 use the screws that hold the light to the body of the jeep to ground the lights. Chances are the wholes that the screws/bolts goes into have a coating of rust around them and are stopping the lights from grounding. This may not be the solution but you need to eliminate this from your list.

your socket may not be grounded properly, I have seen this before, and the simplest way to fix is change the socket with a new one.Not another used one it may also be bad.
