Instument panel not working

The cluster itself. If power and ground to cluster are good then it's likely that the cluster needs to be replaced.

The ABS light stays on, then the instuments go dead, then the Check Engine light comes on. When I check it with my Checker it says P1698 Error.

re[place instument cluster its an intermitand problem the abs light is probaly because the cluster isnt talking on the buss then it crashes and no one is talking so all the lights come on

What fuse is for the mileage indicator

There is no fuse for just the odometer("mileage indicator")The entire instument cluster is on the same fuse.If the odometer isn't working, but the speedometer is,you will have to send the cluster for repair(this is a specialty repair shop, due to legal issues of possible odometer tampering)

Dash instruments go out 99 dodge caravan

The first thing to do is reach up (if possible) behind the cluster and make sure the plugs to it are fully inserted, push them in or remove and reinsert if possible to reach them. If that doesn't fix the problem the entire cluster must be removed and then sent out for repair to a shop that repair Chrysler electronics.

1997 mustang instument cluster problems

If the warning lights work we will assume the fuse for "cluster" or "gauges" is good, so the problem may be in the printed circuit board inside the cluster. I can't tell if there is more than one power wire for the cluster from the fuse box.

My spedometer wasnt working all the time when it did work my transmission would shift fine thought it was speed censor tried to change now my spedometer dont work at all could this been the problem and i...

No,the speed sensor is for calcultions for the ABS brake system. The speedometer problem is an on going problem that GM has with there instument clusters. You'll have to replace the instument cluster to fix the speedometer problem. As for transmission problem i would chenge the fluid and filter if you are having shift problems,if problem still exists after servicing transmission have the shift solenoids checked sounds like they maybe sticking.

Instument Guages

well the issue is youe enitre gauge cluster i do understand that your speedometer is working but it is a cable speedometer not electronic like everything else in the gauge cluster so first i would recomend checking the voltage getting to your gauge cluster then just replace the guagecluster they are really cheap i a salvage and not hard to install at all but the cluster itself is not very comon to go out so make sure you check voltage to it first i wouldnt want you to go through buying and replaceing the cluster and that not fix it
