It's not all that bad. I replaced mine with mostly normal tools (maybe torx bits). you have to pull the interior panel from the door to have access to it, and remove the wiper arm (probably the hardest part to get off). Just take your time and make sure you find all of the panel screws and don't drop things on your head.

REAR WIPER ON 2007 CHEV UPLANDER QUIT WORKING. IS STUCK HALFWAY UP REAR WINDOW.

Your motor is more then likely locked up. Replace the wiper motor. First check the relays.

Rear wiper dont work on 2007 equinox

if you know how to use a multimeter or someone who does can go inside the motor to see if the motor wires connected to it is getting enough current electrons to it to make it work but the motor might went bad on you so have someone check this out first but also check your fuses too when you have the chance as well, It does not hurt to check all fuses.

Where is the fuse located for the rear wiper motor for a 2007 chev equinox

From owners manual...

...check position 3 for rear wiper. The instrument panel fuse block is located on the passenger's side of the center console, to the left of the glove box near the floor.

Rear wiper stopped working

First check the fuse for the rear wiper to make sure it did not blow. Also, if you had the wiper replaced resently, then the nut on top of the wiper blade may not have been tightened down.
