HATCH BACK IS LOCKED AND WON'T OPEN WITH KEY OR POWER LOCK (RELEASE BUTTON). CHECKED FUSE AND ITS OK.
You may want to just remove fuze #28 under the hood...for about 30 seconds...reboots the bcm and it corrected my Aztek's ills.
Many thanks to tndytek!! 02 Aztek had hatch release problem,
pulled fuse 28 per your instructions and this fixed problem.
I had the same problem. Disconnecting the battery helped temporarily, but then other things started going as well. The interior controls would shut off, and come back on, the doors would lock and unlock, and this all while driving, usually after a longer trip however. Turned out that the computer needed to be replace. I have had absolutely no problems since then, and it has been over a year now.
Something stuck in it ? door jammed! disconnect battery for 5 seconds should reset safety and work .does key fob work on other doors? or clicker button
