The answer is NO, the Kia sedona does not have a fuel shutoff switch.

SOUND LIKE FUEL PUMP GOING BAD.YOUR FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT IS ALSO GOING BAD ITS PART OF THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY.FIRST HAVE CAR SCANNED TO SEE WHAT TROUBLE CODES IS.REPLACE FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP RELAY FIRST THEY ARE CHEAPER ROUTE THEY COULD BE THE PROBLEM.BUT FUEL PUMP COST BETWEEN $300.00 TO $700.00 THAT WHY CHECK FILTER AND RELAY AND HAVE IT SCAN BEFORE BUYING ANY HIGH PRICE PARTS.IF FUEL PUMP GOOD I BELIEVE YOU CAN BUY FUEL SENDING UNIT SEPERATE DONT HAVE TO BUY WHOLE PUMP ASSEMBLY BUT CHECK AROUND SOME AUTO PARTS PLACES WILL MAKE YOU BUY THE WHOLE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY JUST TO FIX THE FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT.

WELL I WOULD SAY FUEL FILTER.BUT YOUR FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP COME AS ASSEMBLY.THERE ARE FEW MORE THINGS CAN CAUSE YOU STALLING PROBLEM.WATER IN FUEL.IDLE SPEED TOO LOW.HAVE CAR SCAN FOR FAULTY PCM OR COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR.FAULTY FUEL INJECTOR.AND IGNITION COIL.SEE YOUR VECHICLE HAS 6 COILS 1 FOR EACH CYLINDER.

start of at the gas tank look under neath there are some black lines running towards the engine follow it to a small gold color that ataches to the line you are following that is the filter the pump is in the gas tank you need to drop the straps at the tank to bring it down

When it shuts off turn the ignition key on without starting the vehicle and listen for the pump to run. It should run for a few seconds before shutting down. If it does not replace the fuel pump relay. Also replace the fuel filter if you have not done so in the last 36,000 miles. You may end up with a fuel pump that is also failing and will need replacement.

It is located inside the fuel tank. Fortunately there is an access panel behind the drivers seat. take the cover off and then disconnect the wires and the fuel lines unscrew the flange and out it comes.

Check for an impact shutdown switch- this is to stop fuel pumping in case of an accident. Switch is probably in or around the access door on the left rear interior. I've seen this problem in a lot of vehicles, havent had the prroblem with my Sedona.\, so I don't know exact switch locatioin. If your vehicle is high milage, it could also be fuel pump failure. Check all fuses too, include the block under the hood on the left side.
