Blown fuse, or could be the dimmer switch. Check fuses first.

SOURCE: timing degree nissan sentra

Step1 First step is to open your hood on your vehicle and locate the distributor. Step2 Next loosen your distributor just enough that it will turn from side to side with some resistance. Step3After Loosening the distributor take a piece of chalk and mark on theharmonic balancer the timing mark so it can be seen easily. Step4Then take the timing light and connect it to the battery and the Numberone spark plug wire. Then have your helper start the vehicle while youshine the timing light on the harmonic balance and the timing mark onthe timing chainmag-glass_10x10.gif cover. Step5The Timing Light will illuminate the mark on the harmonic balancer whenthe Number one cylinder is firing. The mark should correspond to thetiming mark on the timing chain cover. You can then adjust the timingforward or backwards by rotating the distributor ever so slightly. Step6 When you have the timing where you want it then shut off the engine and carefully tighten back down the distributor without moving it.

SOURCE: passenger side head light not work, Battery drain

jay: There are two fuses for the headlights. make sure you have checked both. The fuses are located in the engine compartment in the black box and they are 15 amps each. When you say you checked the bulb, did you try another bulb in it's place? Did you check to make sure you have solid ground connections?

In terms of the electrical draw: The first thing I would check is the alternator. One way you can check sometimes if the draw is strong enough. Get a hacksaw blade or something similar in size and thickness. like a small metal ruler. With the battery connected and the key removed from the ignition, place the blade flat on the front of the alternator pulley. If it sticks or if you feel a small amount of magnetic pull, the alternator has a short and is creating the draw.
Outside of that you would need an amp meter which you could put between the battery cable and the battery terminal to measure the draw. From there you could start pulling fuses one by one until you notice a drop on the meter. Typically a few tenths of an amp draw is normal because you have certain components which use very small amounts of current to maintain memory such as your radio.
Let me know how you make out. I'll be more than willing to further assist you if you need it.

SOURCE: how do you remove a door panel, 2002 nissan sentra

Frank, YA ready?????? The first thing is a kind of trim ring which snaps around the parameter of the inner door handle. You need a small flat faced screw driver and get a piece of cardboard which you can slip between the screw driver and the panel where ever you might pry against so you don't cut it or mark it.
Take the cardboard place it against the door panel right at the top of where the inner door handle trim ring is and out near the end at the top, push the screw driver under the ring , twist it a little and the ring will pop loose. Do the same on the bottom and the back of the ring hooks the the handle.
Next, on the end of the armrest, you can put the screw driver between the upper and lower sections at the back and lift up on the upper section. (it clips into the lower section. ) Once you have lifted it, the front section of it just hooks, so pull it backwards and you can remove it.
Next, look down into the little pocket you put your hand in when you pull the door shut. Most of the doors had a small plastic cap which you pry up and below that cap is a screw which you remove with a # 6 phillips screw driver (that is the most common size phillips used) Once the screw is out, move to the front of the arm rest and pry it up like you did the back one. It is designed the same way.
This part will have the switch(s) in it. The connector has a latch lever near the center of the connector where it plugs into the switch. Push the lever down while rocking the connector side to side a little while you pull on it. The connector should easily come out.
There are two screws which fasten the door panel to the door around the area where the arm rests were, They too are phillips head screws. On rare occasions you might find these two fasteners with bolts that have heads which a 10mm wrench or socket will fit.
The last place is the bottom. On the bottom out toward the ends are plastic clips which snap into the door shell it self and are affixed to the door panel. Pry lightly between the panel and the door shell and the panel should pop loose.
Once it is loose, you lift the panel up and off the door, do not swing it out away from the door.
If the door has lights at the bottom, unplug the light before removing the door panel, it will be obvious how it comes loose.
Good luck.
All the doors come apart about the same way.

SOURCE: 2002 Nissan Sentra SeR AC not working

It could be low on refrigerant. They have a low pressure switch to keep it from coming on when it gets low to protect the compressor since no oil would be flowing to it.

Nissan maxima 2002 battery drains overnight. auto electrician found the FL40A fusible link power windows to be the problem. when the FL is removed the battery doesn't drain

If your car has self closing windows when the car is locked or automatic open/close, it is possible one or more window motors is not switching off as it should leaving it stalled and consuming current.
I once had a Vauxhall do that..

I suggest you insert an ammeter in series with the fusible link and measure the discharge and compare it with a window motor stall current...

Dome lights and power door locks no working on nissan sentra

Try disconnect negative battery cable for 10 seconds, then reconnect. In my case, after leaving lights on and draining battery, power locks on 2001 Sentra were not working, neither with remote fob or inside car. I have no idea why, but with above procedure, everything now works fine.

My battery keeps draining after 2-3 days, I've had the alternator checked, in which it is working properly. What could drain a battery after that short time span. the battery has been replaced twice

For starters, make sure that you don't leave any electrical components on. If that is not the issue then check the cars wiring. Have an electrician check it for you. My hunch is that there is some wiring somewhere that is not properly grounded and/or there is a short circuit somewhere. These two things will lead to battery drain especially since removing the key from the ignition does not turn all the electrical components off. (ex. the headlights, horn, tail lights, brake lights, interior light may be turned on even without the key.)
