1. In the fuse box no.# 1 placed in the engine compartment:
Check fuse no.# 23 - F23 (10A) = Air Conditioning Control Unit.
Air Conditioning DTC fault code 1269:
AIRCO B1269 CAN communication error with the KLA multifunction sensor.
Check the evaporator temperature sensor. It's possible that the B1269 could mean that the A/C is not running with only the ignition on position and the engine not running.
The multifunction sensor is there to get the ambient humidity, and pollution levels. It's mounted in the cabin air intake under the bonnet.

Have you tried swapping the computer from a working car yet? You may want to try that. We may have a computer failure that's why it's not giving power. Please keep me posted on the progress.

Welcome to Fixya Use a multimeter to test the AC coil. Put the red node of the multimeter on the positive terminal of the coil and touch the black node anywhere on the car body. Check to see if electric current is present in the coil. Inspect the A/C clutch. It is a lever that is used to engage and disengage the air conditioning. Hold the clutch and see if it will move back and forth. If the clutch will not move, the compressor shaft has seized, and the whole compressor must be replaced.
Test the aircon compressor first. Rotate the compressor pulley. Use your hand to turn the pulley one complete cycle. If the pulley will not turn, the bearings are bad and must be replaced.

Have you tried testing the wire using a tester to see if there is current flowing to the wire? If there is no current, then the problem is there might be a cut or short from that wire.

Inline to the wiring to the compressor is a fusable link which is incorporated with the wiring near the compressors plug in connector. If shorted out the wire will pull in two or stretched if pulled very hard.
There are 5 power sources for the front A/C unit each power source power up different aspects of the system and there are 2 power sources for the rear A/C unit.

you have to understand that there are many sensors that have to be in range before the A/C module can turn on the compresser. when you turn on the A/C switch it sends a signal to the on-board computer system, the on-board computer then looks at all the sensors like engine temp, rpm, tps, evap. temp, A/c pressure..and many more if all the sensors are in range then the computer turns on the compresser, if any of these sensors are out of range the computer will not turn on the compresser, so with all that said you need to test the computer system for troble codes all codes PCM, BCM, HVAC all these systems need to be checked. and by the way you can not take a computer from one car and put it in another car each computer is programed with the cars vin if you swap the computers from car to car with out reprograming them they just will not comouencate with each other. you need to get a scanner and get the info from the computers, if the A?C is coming on the computer knows why you just need to ask it it has all the info from all the sensors and will tell you why it will not turn on the system......good luck

No, no other hidden fuses. The air con is controlled directly by the BCM, which includes the entire climate controls. If you compressor and the fan works when powered directly then the defect is in the BCM or the wiring between it and the compressor - to determine which you will need to have the error codes read.
If no error codes are detected then it's a wiring failure - the entire harness, starting from the BCM inside the dash, will have to be inspected and repaired. This is going to be a very large and fiddly job, that will require extensive dismantling of the dash , it will take at least a day to do it.
No, there is nothing else, of course apart pairing the modules with the car that must be done after every part replacement - but i assumed you have done that
P1269 - Immobilizer Code Not Programmed - nothing to do with your problem. As i said it's either the wiring - you have a break in it - or the controller isn't functioning - either you have a defective one or it hasn't been paired to the car.

there is no wiring problem we have four of these vehicles and have tried new sam unit and climate control unit but still no power to the wire that supplies the compressor on the right hand side fuse box is there anything else it could be

the only code comming from the climate control is 1269
and as I stated the power for the compressor should be live whether it is on or not when engine is turned running it is not any of the sensors causing it for some reason the power to that particular wire is not live when engine is on.
which relay is it
it is not a fuse problem all fuses are ok fault code 1269 can that cause the power not to be present and where can it be located.
it cannot be that because when power is given from an outside source to the wire in fuse box 1 for the compressor it works
2000 S500 the power wire from sam unit for air con compressor should be live when engine on tested new sam unit still no good when powered from outside source the compressor works all fuses are ok and the only code I can see is 1269 which was there when it was operating perfectly
I am sorry the compressor works perfectly the problem is not the compressor it is the power coming to it the wire which supplies the compressor it is the green blue wire which plugs into the sam unit whic is next to the smallest relay the power should be on when car is running but is not. when I supply power to that wire from an outside source the compressor works perfectly.
