How to set your clock stereo on 1992 Dodge Dakota
?Turn the vehicle on then push the SEL button. It should flash back and forth between the time and the radio station you are set to. Set it to the time position.
?Now push the SET button. On my original stereo a P comes up. ( I think the P means p.m. but I have not been able to figure out how to change that setting) Next try the SEL button. It should flash to the hour. Use the TUNE knob to scroll to the desired hour.
?Push the SEL button and you should be able to set the desired minutes the same way.
?Push the SEL button again and the clock on your vehicle stereo should be set.

you will need to use a pen or something small enough to insert in the two holes located by the clock to set the hour and minute.
SOURCE: serpentine belt on 1992 dakota
You don't mention which engine you have in your '92 Dakota, but it's likely the 3.3L and if so, here's the diagram. Even if your engine is not the 3.3L the principals for replacing the belt are the same.
Get a serpentine belt tension release tool (local parts store) and use it to take the tension wheel away from the belt, which will make it loose enough to remove by simply pulling it off one of the pulleys (the alternator will be easiest) and then wiggle it out of the engine bay. The tool should come with a selection of heads for the different variations of tensioner arms/bolts. Once the belt is removed, replacing it is the reverse process.
Hope this helps, and please rate my answer.

Usually there is a dot on the crank gear and one on the cam gear. Crank is up and cam is down but you still need to make sure you have TDC=top dead center
SOURCE: radio wiring troubles for 1992 dodge dakota le
hmm well there are 2 solutions to this that i can give cause i dont have the wiring diagram for that truck..
The first would be to set with a multimeter and test the wires under the dash for the hot, and axcessories wire.
The second would be to run 2 wires directly from the battery to the inside of the vehicle and connect the radio using that.
The second solution is self explained so lets discuss the first.
The truck came with an original radio. connected to this raid is a jack with a bunch of wires. remove the connector. with keys out the ignition test every wire until you get 12V.. thats your hot wire. this wire always has power. Now lable that wire and push it aside. turn the ignition on and test the remaining wires until you get 12v .. thats the ignition wire or acesories. this only has power with the ignition on. The remaining paired wires are for the speakers. connect the new deck and vonnect the wires one pair at a time to determine their location. or ypu can look at the wires connect directly to the speakers to see which wires go to which. .. you can use the body of the truck as a ground.

First things first, if you havent already done so, check the owners manual. If you lost it or dont have one, i suggest 1 of these 2 procedures:
1.) Next to the radio, there should be 2 little holes. They are actually buttons. One of these has hours or "h" above it, while the other is labelled minutes or "m". Use a pen to press those little buttons to set the correct time.
OR
2.) Use the knobs to tune the radio (AM/FM and volume) to set the time. This is how it works:
-Press and hold the Time button
-The "hours" on the display should flash
-Turn the radio tuning knob to set the correct time
-Press and hold the tuning knob
-The "minutes" on the display should flash
-Set the correct time
Then you should either wait for it to stop flashing or press the time button to set it.
