Yes do remove the passenger side seat. The switch is on the rear top of the engine sort of midline but to the drivers side a little. There's a wiring harness that may hide it. If you didn't buy the socket that fits the oil pressure switch, go back and get it! I broke the first switch I tried to put in. It is $8-$10.
You'll need to remove the doghouse, the cover over the engine in the passenger compartment. Sometimes you have to remove one of the front seats to get it out.
The oil pressure switch/sending unit will be just to the drivers side of the distributor.
