THAT FUSE MEANS THAT POWER FEED IS SHORTED
THAT FUSE Prevented a fire. that is its job.
you need the shop manual to find all things that fuse feeds
you can be sure it is no just 1 thing,
the isolate (means unpllug) things on that feed to find out which device is shorted. (one is or there wires)
Bad alternator or short in alternator wiring. You much need a wiring diagram. Is that the car? Was in an accident? You may have pinched wiring or a wire shorted to ground. Try new fuse with alternator disconnected, then with key on, connect alternator-watch for sparks, or clicks, -you might want to have the alternator tested, just to be sure. You have to start somewhere...
Maybe a wiring short in the blinker system? Or is the fuse blowing an alternator fuse?
The Battery could be shorting out internally and that was the reason your Alternator broke. It will happen again to the Rebuilt Alternator if the Battery is not checked or replaced.
When you get the car driveable, take it to Autozone or Oreillys for a Starter Draw test. This can be the short that killed the other Alternator.
Sound to me like some wires were either disturbed or crossed and are shorting out maybe when you replaced the alternator?Maybe have a look at the alternator connections again and make sure everything is correct and tight and that the new alternator is the right one for your car.Other than that its a case of tracing the wires from the alternator to the fusebox to find whats blowing your fuse.
