Hello, just recently started having a problem with my 98 grand prix gt headlights... while im driving at night my headlights will shut off and start to flicker after about 10 minutes of driving... if i stop, turn my car off and the headlights for a few minutes, they will come back on for about 10 more minutes with no problem but then they flicker and shut off and i have to repeat the whole process... any suggestions what it could be?

98 Pontiac Grand Prix load front end roaring?

Defective fan clutch, if it has one. With a cold engine only, try spinning the fan blade by hand. If it does not turn freely, the fan clutch is defective. Warning: When the engine is hot, the fan can turn on by itself with the car not running and keys are NOT in the ignition.

98 grand prix dashboard lights wont come on

I had a similar issue to yours recently. The PKG LIGHT fuse was out in the fuse block under the hood. I had no running lights, no instrument panel lights and rapid dinging when I open the door like an indicator of the headlights being left on. It is a 20AMP fuse in slot 37. There should be another fuse in one of your "spare" slots. Hope this helps.

Hello, I have a 2000 grand prix gt shift into gear and drive fine

Sounds like the filter might be plugging up. I would have it serviced. Do you have a check engine light on? How long do you have to leave the engine off before it will start moving again?

2002 pontiac grand prix gt. High beams are dimmer

A loose ground wire to the headlight will keep it dim,Or a headlight adjustment will bring the headlight up.If you can have your headlight turned on a garage door or something at night, and then watch as you change your headlights from low beam to high beam which ones are higher.the last thing to verify is that your high beam headlights are not the plastic lens type that turn dull which cuts the light power.

1997 Grand Prix GT.new3800 and fuel pump, spark and gas, nofire!

Hello! When you swapped the engine, did you have the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) from the new motor as well? If not - you will need to have a "CASE" learn run on the PCM that you're currently using (the one from your previous engine). Important note: the 1997 Grand Prix GT's and GTP's have quite a few differences from the 98-03's. The CASE procedure is run using the Tech II tool and can be done at any dealership in about 10 minutes. If they aren't sure what that is, suggest to them that they follow the procedure for DTC 1336 - Crankshaft Position (CKP) System Variation Not Learned. :)

Hope this helps and good luck!
