I own a 2004 Infinity G35. When I accelerate [push on the gas pedal] it feel as though the vehicle hesitates a bit. I recently replaced filters, belts, etc. Silly question. Do I need to take my vehicle to an Infinity dealer and have them "check/update" the computer chips in my vehicle? Please note: I am not sure I used the correct terminology but hopefully you understand my question.

SOURCE: reverse in my infinity g35 coupe is hesitating.

The pressure is not building in the reverse clutch circuit, sounds like a seal leak on a drum piston or a sealing ring. Try using lubegard trans additive before you pop for a rebuild.

Some pads are more prone to this condition than others. The best fix is to make sure the mechanic used a lubricant on the back of the pads before installation. This will reduce some brake "chatter", and in most cases cure this problem...Good Luck!

yes ballast is on the bottom of the headlight capsule. remove and note 4 torx heads

Accelaration loss of power
I'd have a fuel pressure test done to be sure, it isn't fuel related again. Takes 5 or 10 minutes so cost should be minimal. The other thing that comes to mind is a plugged exhaust. (catalytic converter) Quite possible on a 10yr.old vehicle.

You should definitely replace the fuel filter though this probably won't fix your hesitation. It wouldn't hurt to replace the spark plugs this is usually the culprit on these engine. I have the same engine in a '99 caravan and found the for some reason the spark plugs on cylinder 3 and 4 loosen up after one year and cause a misfire between 45 and 50 mph under load (when mildly accelerating).
