I have a 2006 saturn ion, and when my aircon is on my rpm needle goes up and down...it doesn't matter if i'm driving or in park. When i'm in park the issue is much worse. The RPM needle keeps doing the same thing but after about 10-15min in park my RPM needle goes to 0 and shuts off the car. When the car is doing this my aircon works but doesn't cool like it's supposed to. I already had the throttle body replaced but the issue continues...please help!!!

Do you have cruise control, see if that cable somehow is giving slack,This is a problem with Hyundai where the cable affects TPS plausibility,There was a TSB bulletin by Hyundai Engine RPM fluctuation - cruise control cable adjustment procedure
Solenoids they are parellel in circuit when one goes bad they are all affected, yes you can have a internal sealing problem with the idler area, these transmission are elecrtical depended, it goes out first,
You can try pulling up on the lock piece located by the window several times really fast! Another wards, grab on to the lock pull it up push it down and do that 3-4 times and then try unlocking with the remote if that doesn't work, try pulling up on it again and at the same time try opening the door from the outside, people don't understand that with Saturn's the piece that holds all the lock parts in place is a thin piece of metal that can get out of place by driving over time from the bumps and jarring that your car goes through, its not difficult to **** it back into place basically! Of course there are springs in the bottoms of the doors, sometimes by chance that spring could be sprung.
Depending on what side you would like to remove, you may want a friend to ride along with you as you drive at least 84 mph down a street crowded with parked cars. Once at full speed have your friend swing the door open (this won't be easy as you are going very fast) and then you as the driver can swerve and hit a parked car (or telephone pole) with the open door. This will result in the fastest and easiest way to remove the door. Hope this helped. Good luck.
When this happened to mine it ended up being a bad door switch. The alarm, dome/map lights and electric door locks are all connected to the door switches. It cost $65 for diagnosis, parts and labor at Saturn of South Burlington VT
