most have 4 prongs, take a ohm meter and set it to ohms and touch tips to terminals on continuity you will get a beeping sound , hold on one terminal and check other terminals no noise contacts could be bad
I have replaced the starter and the relay and I still don't get the starter to start I have checked the switch on the cluch to see if that was the problem and it seems to be working fine. What else could it be ????

call a locksmith, they do this kind of job everyday. tell him you want th ebroken key removed fron the Ignition switch lock cylinder. Not igntion starter.
I have a '95. It's behind the passenger side tire. Remove tire and rock guard if you have one--couple of screws--and you can easily access it. two bolts facing rear of car, two connections up front. Honestly it was the easiest replacement I've ever done. Just disconnect your battery first.
