I just purchased a used 2008 Saturn Aura and just found out that I'm not able to connect a cable into the auxiliary port of the stock radio. The connector will not go all the way into the port and it appears that there may be a piece of a previously used connector lodged in the port. Do I need to remove the radio entirely or might there be a way to remove what seems like a broken piece? Thanks!

you just have to remove the headslights by the three screwson the top of each lens and just give it good yank ad it will come out then you can remove the bulbs

The Saturn Aura introduced a new bolt pattern for Saturn (and GM), 5-110. The SKY is the only other Saturn with this pattern. If you look to the extended family, the Chevrolet Malibu (2004-up), Pontiac G6, Saab 9-3 (current generation), Pontiac Solstice, Chevrolet Cobalt, Pontiac G5 and Chevrolet HHR use this pattern as well. Access to change the headlamp bulbs is through the wheel well. The recommended method is to remove the front tire and then the plastic inner fender liner. Once removed, you'll have easy (more or less) access to the rear of the headlamp housing.

I would first check the plug to the blower and possibly the plug to the resistor, sometimes these get hot and will loose connection.

I will not laugh, this happens alot. There is small face plate around the radio and a/c panel with a small pick pull the panel out which will expose the screws that secure the radio. remember if you disconnect the power from the radio you will have to go to a GM dealer to have the radio reset so it will work
