My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee smells like the coolant is leaking. I have checked and can find no visible leaks nor puddles of coolant where I park. I topped off the coolant reservoir and was stunned to find it empty approximately 3 days later. My jeep is NOT overheating according to the gauges, the heater and AC both work. I am assuming I have a leak.. where and what could it be?

You probably have a crack or a bad gasket and the coolant is seeping into the combustion or lubrication systems. check for sweet coolant odor at exhaust pipe, maybe some green stain and drippings too. pull off the oil fill cap and pull out the dipstick, check for a foamy residue on either.

If you have no external leaks then it sounds like you could have a possible leak into the oil system(you would have a milky look to the oil) or the head gasket may have a small leak and the car is burning coolant but not big enough to overheat yet.you should have the system pressure tested as you could have an external leak small enough that the heat of the motor could be drying it before it accumulates enough to drip off the motor and yet smell.also the heater core could have a small leak in it and not show a leak.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L, oil leak ontop of engine, around and infront of oil fill hole.

Gasket/O-ring bad on the oil fill cap. The fan is throwing it around where you've found the excess.

Leaking engine coolant. the coolant eventually all leaks out and car over heats.

Does the leak show up on the ground when you are parked with the engine running or stopped.
Determine where it's leaking from. Hose? near fire wall, near radiator. Water pump will leak when it's worn.
Can you smell it when you're inside the car? heater core.

Water\coolant leaking from engine after shutting engine down

It takes a lot more than a small leak to consider your engine as "totaled"
Have the system pressure tested and carefully inspected. Every leak has a source. some are easy to find, some are a bit more difficult. A shop can use a fluorescent dye and a black light to locate the source if you can't.
I'd check the corners of the intake manifold and timing chain housing. Also, check the hoses again. A small pin-hole can squirt coolant far away from the hole itself and is often very difficult to see.

My 2004 jeep grand cherokee has a smell inside the jeep. This just started. It smells like propane gas. What could leak that would give off this smell? It's not the interior or carpet. car is well kept...

shocks are generally nitrogen filled (you can't smell that)
Make sure you aren't loosing any coolant (could be the heater core beginning to leak) At the very onset, it is possible that the leak is small enough that it is either evaporating before reaching the rug or is going out the a/c drain. Also check in the engine compartment for any small leaks or seepage that may be burning off and possibly causing enough vapor to get into the engine compartment. If the problem is cooling system related adding some of the powder type system sealer will often be enough to fix that but don't load it up...one small packet is sufficient, and not enough to jam up the system.
It is tough to diagnose that sort of problem in person
online, nearly impossible but I hope I have touched on something that will help.

After placing jeep in park and turning off car I hear a sizzling sound behind driver side tire

Hi:
Hopefully, what you are hearing is something leaking onto the hot exhaust of your Jeep. If this is the case, it is most likely a coolant leak, because if it was an oil leak or power steering leak, it would smell like burning oil. This is just my best guess here, so first and formost, check the level of your coolant when the jeep is cool. If you park on a good clean surface after driving it, see if you can see any drips that would give you a clue as to what might be leaking. Lastly, check under the hood too and look for any evidence of leaking. Be very careful if you are doing this on a hot engine. With a little bit of patience, you might find the problem.
I hope you get a cheap fix!

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee fluid leak

That is the area the air conditioner vent drains. There aren't a lot of fluids possible - coolant, power steering fluid and transmission fluid are the only ones that would be in that position unless your windshield washer fluid leaks from the tubing. Brake fluid would be closer to the wheels. If the air conditioner runs at all it removes moisture from the passenger compartment and drains near the passenger side firewall. All the other fluids would hae a definite smell.

Strange smell when heat is on heat works fine just strange smell also have to add coolant about every three months

sounds like you got a heater core leak, the heater core is what the coolant flows thru into your heater box in your dash to allow you to have heat, sounds like the core is leaking,by the smell and the low coolant i would say it is leaking, youll need to replace it before it blows out, you dont need 2 gallon of 200 degree coolant flowing into your car,,,

Engine smells like rubber burning and temperature gauge at normal temperature. Water/coolant leaking out of reservoir and needs to be filled ever 2 days. Oil level is normal, but when it's hot outside the...

Generally that smell is caused by an oil leak that is getting on either the exhaust pipe or manifold (doesn't take much to smell). As far as bottle getting low, I've got a 93 that never stays full but only needs coolant in the radiator about once every two months. Been like that for two or three years and has never overheated. I'm sure there is a small leak somewhere, but I'm not driving myself crazy looking for it. Check all hose connections, and look on the ground after being parked overnight...If it's leaking, something will show up. But if the radiator is staying full, just check it when checking oil level.
