I have a 2006 Chevy Aveo. I had the batter checked at Advance Auto and they said it was bad, it was going on 5 years from the factory. They put a New battery in for me But my battery light is still on. What should I do? (May be related but my clock lights go on and off, and my passenger air bag light won't go off but stays on saying there is no passenger when there is.) Could there be a problem with the indicator lights or should I get the alternator checked also? I read other posts and they seem to be having the same problem.

If you go to Advance Auto parts, or Auto Zone, they will scan the computer for free and tell you what the code is, and usually what it means. Could be anything from an oxygen sensor to your gas cap being loose (emissions)
Tighten your fuel cap 3 times to make sure its tightned. don't push it in when you tighten it. Use Fuel injection cleaner like once a month... You may have gotten bad gas. Don't use 100 percet gas. Use gas with ethenol... you get better gas mileage. I go through 3-4 tanks a week. I use the 87 octane and I put Berrymans Fuel injection cleaner in once a week. I don't know about your hesitations though I drive a 5 speed
There is a special socket for O2 sensors which allow the wires to stick out and not get twisted up. It's not expensive and available at most auto parts stores. Disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness, with the plug and then use the socket to remove and replace the new sensor. Re-connect electrical plug.
i dont know anything about the chevy aveo But i purchased a toyota truck years ago without air conditioning and had the dealer install factory a/c and only took 3 hours for the whole thing .
