I have a 2004 Sebring Convertible with 60,000 miles. The fuel gauge read 1/8 or more but ran out of gas. The low fuel light DID NOT come on. No warning, it just quit. Happened again with just under a 1/4 tank showing on the gauge. Thanks.

code p 0128 refers to coolant thermostat--coolant temp below thermostat regulating temperature ===causes --mechanical fault
replace the thermostat
your problem may be low fuel pressure from a faulty pressure regulator
have the fault codes read professionally as the code you have is not related to your problem
The fuel gage problem is either from a bad ground to the gage or the sending unit in the tank is bad. They will normally read a half tank or less when the car is full if the sending unit goes bad. I would put a scanner on the computer and check for any codes set.
Welcome I have 2003 a few mouths ago mine is doing the same going up and down, miles the same.I am driving 300 km and resetting (200miles).Still, i have some gas left. After i fill up again. That mine solution.
02 sensors read the exhaust fumes and then adjust the car's air/fuel ratio by means of the car's computer. IF the gas guage is off, that would be the sending unit in the gas tank that is sticking
had a problem with a grand prix like that once, was the fuel filter, and injectors, all needed replaced, and it only had 89,000 miles. Would check fuel filter first. Is it possible you got some bad gas??
