The sway bars are devices that preven the car body from rolling or tilting from side to side as you drive through corners. They are on most cars at the front and usually the rear suspension. They have bushings in the middle that can wear out, but more commonly "link ends" on their outboard ends that connect to the control arms, that wear and get noisy. You can buy kits to replace the bushings and link ends that will fix this noise.

A sway bar is a suspension piece that keeps the left and right side of vehicle connected to help with turns. They are held together through sway bar links at each end, which are fairly common to break or rattle over bumps.

Ive got a knocking coming from the rear passenger side of my ford focus. i have renewed the bearings, shoes, cylinder but the noise is still there could it be from anything else. please help

check the rear stabilizer links. there will be a round bar than runs accross the rear suspension. There will be two links that attach this bar to the lower control arm. either one of the links is broken or the bushings that hold the bar in place are worn out.

How do you change aa timing belt on a 2003 Ford Focus. I have replacement prices from $99 to $526.

ford focus zetec engine 1.6 ,then its quite easy to do but one word of caution ??BIG TIME and the the bottom pulley is not on a keyway just a slight taper so do not undo the bottom pulley bolt by jamming a big bar with socket on and turning the starter motor ,as the bolt loosens the timing belt pulley moves and the valves hit the pistons .jam the flywheel up with a small jemmy bar in the flywheel teeth by removing the starter motor, trust me on this i smashed two pistons and 6 valves undoing the pulley bolt with the starter motor

Cd player removal

At the auto parts store, you can find a radio removal tool. It consists of two U-shaped metal bars. The intent is to insert the metal bars into the four holes on the front of the radio. When you pry the bars out, they release the clips that hold the radio in. I have heard of this proceedure being done with a coat hanger, but I have not tried it myself.
