These links all provide information from Ca on their smog certificates and how and where to get them. Below is a simple versions of what needs to be done.
Contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles or auto-repair shop for smog check requirements in your state. If your state requires certification by a mechanic, take your car to an approved shop. You can't do a smog test yourself. If your car passes, be sure to get a copy of your car's emissions test results signed by your mechanic. Take this with you to the DMV, or mail it as required in your state. If your car fails, your mechanic must diagnose what repairs will be necessary to get your car into test-passable condition. Make sure to get a copy of your mechanic's assessment. Take that assessment to the DMV. If you have failed, the DMV will issue you a temporary registration and assign you a date by which the car must be repaired and pass the test.
I hope this helps, I don't live in Ca but was trying to help pass on the info.
I am sorry but when the question was presented to me, there were no other comments or details on wht your looking for.
Have you tried any of the big auto retoration places and even Ebay. Soory I can't be of much more help as i misread the question. You might want to re-phrase it as your looking for an replica or replacement for a restoration, not a new official sticker.
I have a friend who does restoration work, in fact he is prestty famouse, he does cars for Jay Leno and such, does a lot of work with Barret Jackson, he restored many famous cars such as the Bat mobile, Bobby Darens Dream car and many others. He lives in Missouri but I can post his business and you can contact him to see if he can help, if not I am sure he know who can. His name is Mike Manns from Manns Auto Body in Festus Mo. Google Manns auto body and look through his sites. I hope this can help. There is a phone number for the shop, if he isn't there his son is running the business and they can get in touch.

You have to take it to a certified inspection station to have the smog test done and a new sticker issued. I cannot condone finding a "friend" to pass it for you or anything like that because the whole system is so computerized that they will catch you and the person who "passed" your car.
As long as you have all original factory equipment installed (no "racing" carbs, the smog pump is still in place, the cat is still on the exhaust, etc...) you will be OK. If your carb needs a "tweak" to pass the test (usually to bring down CO emissions), most shops will do it on the spot for 20 bucks or so since your car is already on the analyzer, and it is "win-win" for everybody - your car is good to go, the mechanic made an extra buck, and the state gets its fee.
The reason that your question has been hanging "out there" for six days without a single reply is because the way your question is posted makes it sound like you want an illegal sticker, and that is not what FixYa is about. We will help you in any way we can to get your car to pass the smog check, but we will not help anybody break the law.
You can get a reproduction emission/smog sticker at the El Camino store, go to the URL link below.

That was the only source that I am aware of, and I know allot of them. If it was an older classic model then it would be no problem getting a sticker
Did you go to the web site link I gave you? they show both stickers (1987 305 CI), both decals are $6.99
Please click the link below.

I think you know by now that the California emission decal is no longer available. I will spend no more time on this, I've restored a few cars all GM and I have looked at every source I have, only the 49 state stickers are available.

Inquire at LMC trucks thier service dept may fing you a copy that you can have kinko's or other print shop print. Or if you know what's supposes to be on to you can do it yourself with paint or have an expert at kinkos help you. You can even guess whts on it if you ca find a 87 305 calif sticker for any thing or even a few model years older clear to 84 and any caligoria gm sticker will almost be right copy with a scanner and then edit with paint and then print out your finished or fax you finished work to a print shop so they can print it on sticker paper and fix any problems that you could'nt figure out on your own as they work by the hour what you can finish youself before you hire help will keep your bill down but they'll need a sticker off of somehting in order to get the size right and the lettering the righ kind. Some of the chiltos; car specific manuals had copies of the emission stickers to help you have the tuneup specs. and they'll at lest have what is supposed to be on it. But it's not the same print size and if their were any color code vacume picture the color was'nt copied. Realizr that the monte=carlo and the malibu for that year would havce the same sticker. Califoria will be harder.
