You will need a harness adapter for your model truck. This you will want to solder and heat shrink over the solder joints (Dont just twist tem together) then just plug it in to the factory harness.

You will probably need an adapter kit also.

The wiring harness adapter should come with the color codes for the wires corresponding to your trucks speaker and power wires pinouts make sure you correctly connect them to the color codes of the stereo for proper speaker placement and voltages

No second harness. You have a bad cd player. Optional plugs may be for on star, steering wheel controls, cd changer etc.

Instead of plugging the factory harness into the radio an adapter might be needed.

stereo-mci1pvvbw0dqilycvujzsuug-3-0.jpeg the above diagram is supposed to match your radio from the factory. The documentation with the new radio should provide the pins and plugs and what is on them. The correct plug or adapter should match up with the factory harness and work correctly.

How do i set the clock on 2002 ford f-150

Need to have the key in the accy ( or run ) position.

On the Cassette version, there is a CLK button on the right side of the radio face, press this, and then use the seek button to increase / decrease the time. Pressing CLK again takes it to the min setting, Do not press a button for 10-15 seconds, and the display will return to normal.

single CD, CD changer, and Cassette /CD changer versions, the RDS button is what is used to get to the time setting, using the select button to change the hours, press RDS again to get to the min.

Ford used this in EVERY car practically from 86 - recent in the basic edition stereos.

you can simply go to any junkyard and tell them you have the black one or the grey one, and you need the opposite. From any early model ford.

WIRING CHANGE FOR 2002 DODGE CARAVAN

Your best bet on that one is to go to a place that sells car audio systems or even some autoparts retailers have them, and get the proper adapter harness already made up. A few more dollars but, a whole lot less headaches.

Wiring difference

If your installing a stock radio/cd player from another Dodge the wiring plug is the same and will fit.If your installing a aftermarket radio/cd player(JVC,Pioneer, etc)you will need to buy a adapter plug that wires up to the radio and is a direct fit to your factory wire harness,so your not cutting your wires. When you buy the adapter plug it comes with a wire diagram of which wire is what.Your aftermarket radio should have a diagram also, either on it or in the manual.Hope this helps you.
